Our Services are divided into two areas namely production and service provision.
PRODUCTION
1. Secondary School Science Kits – SEPU produces three secondary school science kits i.e Biology, Chemistry, and Physics kits
2. Support Equipment and apparatus for schools – SEPU designs and produces over five hundred different support equipment and apparatus. The materials are produced on the basis of increasing demands from customers.
3. Institutional Furniture – SEPU fabricates institutional furniture such as; double-decker beds, dining chairs, and tables, conference chairs, office table chalkboards, chalkboard equipment i.e. set squares, protractors and campuses, protractors and campuses, T-squares, and drawing boards.
4. Primary School Sciences Kit – SEPU produces a composite primary school science kit. It caters for all science experiments from standard 1-8 as required by primary science syllabus. The kit was produced as a combined effort between the ministry of education, SEPU and other stakeholders.
5. Practical examination Materials – SEPU designs and manufactures some of the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) and other examination bodies e.g. GCE, IGCSE, and CAMBRIDGE.
SERVICE PROVISION
SEPU offers the following services.
• Fitting of laboratory gas system.
• Fitting of laboratory water and drainage system.
• Designing and fabrication of laboratory and general school furniture.
• Designing and fitting computer laboratory furniture.
• Developing and dissemination of information on science using manual and guides.
• Repairing and maintenance of laboratory equipment eg. Power packs, microscopes, oscilloscopes, balances, stop clocks, ammeters, voltmeters stop clocks, Ammeter, Voltmeter.
• Converting classrooms into science or computer laboratories.
• Exporting products and services to many parts of the world.
