Biography
Dr. Robert Kennedy Gichuhi Ndegwa is an experienced education policy expert and strategic leader with a strong background in education governance, policy formulation, and curriculum development. He currently serves as the Director of Education and Deputy Head of the Directorate at the State Department for Basic Education, where he oversees national education policies, stakeholder partnerships, and regional integration efforts within the East African Community.
He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Strategic Management), Master of Business Administration, University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Education , Kenyatta University. He has held key leadership positions in basic, secondary, and technical education, contributing to infrastructure development, education reforms, and curriculum advancements. He is passionate about improving access to quality education, fostering collaboration between government and private sector stakeholders, and driving meaningful policy changes that enhance learning outcomes.
He currently serves as member in the the board of directors School Equipment Production Unit
